Is this my GitHub bill?
No. We calculate estimated runner cost based on GitHub-hosted runner pricing and observed usage. Your actual bill may differ based on minutes, discounts and billing rules.
What does the free scan read?
We read public repository metadata and workflow YAML, including job definitions and runner labels. We do not access source code, secrets or full logs.
Will it change my workflows?
No. Actions Cost Guard is read-only. We do not modify YAML, write to your repository or create pull requests.
How do you calculate the estimated cost?
We analyze the runner type specified in your workflow YAML (e.g., ubuntu-latest, macos-latest) and multiply the execution time by GitHub's official per-minute pricing for that specific runner.
